Aspyr Media, Lucasfilm Games, and Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today that a remake of BioWare’s classic Star Wars role-playing game, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, is in the works. When it debuts, the game will be accessible only on PlayStation 5 consoles and PC.

While the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake’s teaser video is short on gameplay, it does include a fascinating glimpse at Darth Revan, one of the franchise’s most famous Sith Lords. Jennifer Hale, who voiced Bastila in the original game, also provides a voiceover in the teaser.

Aspyr Media has said that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic would not be likened to a typical remake since the whole RPG is being created from the bottom up. The remake will pay homage to the original while also including contemporary technology, features, and graphics.
