Life is Strange, a game that has received critical acclaim for its story and gameplay, is set in the fictional town of Arcadia Bay. The player takes on the role of Max Caulfield, who has recently moved back to her hometown after her mother’s disappearance.

The life is strange: true colors romance options are the different romantic outcomes that can happen in the first chapter of Life Is Strange.

Deck Nine, Square Enix’s Life Is Strange True Colors is a graphic story-based adventure game. Because the game is a visual story-based game, your progress is determined by your decisions. A lantern symbol appears in the upper left corner of the screen when you make a decision when interacting with other characters.

The lantern sign denotes that the character’s fate or conversation has altered as a result of your decision. This will not have a long-term effect on the game; just the following 2-3 lines of conversation will be altered. Aside from that, you’ll have to make some difficult decisions from time to time that will have an effect on the game and how the other characters interact with you later on. These options will be shown in black and white with two options for you to choose from.

You will be given many minor options in the first chapter that will just influence the next conversation and will have no long-term impact on the game. You’ll also have to make three difficult decisions, which we’ll go through in this tutorial.

Note: All tiny options with a lantern at the top left will have a different discussion for the following dialogue based on the choices alone. Everything else will be the same, so you’ll have to trust your instincts on these little decisions. The major and difficult decisions will be shown in black and white, with the results shown below.

True Colors Tell Ethan’s Secret Or Not | Life Is Strange

The first difficult decision you will face in this game is whether or not to reveal Ethan’s secret to Gabe. Well, I chose to reveal the truth since children should not be permitted to be in potentially hazardous situations. If you don’t reveal Ethan’s secret at the conclusion of chapter 1, he’ll ultimately end up in the mines. You eventually tell Gabe the truth about Ethan’s plans to travel to the mine, even though you could have informed him sooner.

If you inform Gabe about Ethan, Gabe will tell Charlotte, and Ethan may face consequences. But, finally, he travels to the mines at the conclusion of Chapter 1, and this time Gabe won’t be furious with you; instead, he’ll thank you for letting him know sooner, since otherwise, something much worse might have occurred. When you encounter Charlotte for the first time at the bar, she will thank you for informing them that Ethan had planned to go to the mines and was not permitted.

True Colors Tell Riley The Truth About Mac Or Not | Life Is Strange

There will be a few bottles to clean when Jed asks you to clean the backroom table of the pub. After you’ve cleaned the bottle, Mac will approach you, and you’ll have to have a discussion with him about the upstairs brawl. Whatever decisions you choose, the final result will be the same, and Mac will urge you to lie to Riley about the fight.

If you opt to call Mac’s bluff, Alex will tell Riley the truth about how Mac sucker-punched Gabe and then kicked him while he was down. Riley will get enraged and vow to end her relationship with Mac.

If you opt to stay out of it, Alex will tell you she was there but had to go back to work, and the pair will depart.

Note: In chapter 2, you must meet with Mac; thus, the conversation may be changed at that moment. I’ll keep updating this article as I learn more about how the narrative develops as a result of my decisions.

Life Is Weird Tell Gabe about your past or special abilities.

Gabe will go upstairs with Ryan when he returns from the hospital, and Alex will join him with a drink. You’ll have the discussion and have to make a few minor decisions. One of the major decisions you must make is whether or not to inform Gabe about your abilities or your history.

I chose to inform him about my abilities, and if you do, you will have a totally different conversation until you discover Ethan is gone. Alex will disclose that she has the ability to sense other people’s emotions if she chooses to speak about her abilities. Gabe will believe she is a superhero with superpowers, while Alex believes it is a super curse, and there will be further discussion on this subject that I will not reveal.

If you tell him about his history, she will tell him about the foster home and how she was never chosen while other kids were. Gabe has everything sorted out, she’ll say; he has a girlfriend, a house, and a job. While Alex is reflecting on her history, Gabe will present you with a matchbox with just one matchstick and a note inside that says “Never Give Up.” This is the only item Gabe has saved from his time in Juvie.

Note: I’m not sure whether informing your brother about your abilities at the beginning of the game is a smart idea. But we’ll have to wait and watch how the narrative progresses in the following chapters.
