Golden Path Trophy Guide with Order Laws

The purpose of this guide is to help people who are looking for the “best order” in which they should do things like completing objectives, finding secrets, and claiming trophies. The trophy list has been divided into three sections: one called “The Golden Path”, meaning that it’s a good order; another called “The Silver Path”, meaning that it’s not so bad but you could probably get better results if you did something else first (but it won’t hurt); and finally, there is an entire section at the bottom labeled as “Others”.

The “frostpunk golden path gloomy cave” is a trophy in the game frostpunk. In this guide, we will be going over how to get it and what order laws you should follow.

Note: I received the Golden Path prize at long last. The trophy description is exceedingly unclear, and as it can only be obtained once, no one knows for sure what the award’s restrictions are. All I can say is how I did it; if someone else has previously won the award but done things differently, please feel free to comment on how you accomplished it.

I met the following requirements:

  • There have been no fatalities (from anything) This is a rule that Golden Path adheres to to a tee. Unfortunately, I have no notion what constitutes death, so I adopted the toughest standard and refused to let anybody die. This translates to:

    • There will be no death due to illness, cold, or hunger.
    • No scout deaths (reload if scouts die till they don’t)
    • Everyone in the frostland must be rescued (or else death from storm)
    • All Survivor Groups must be escorted (or else death on the way to New London)
    • Before Day 15, go to Winterhome (or else scripted death)
    • Exception: Londoners fleeing the city do not count towards death; however, dispatching guards to prevent them from leaving disables the prize!
  • There is no need for a crisis (lack of heat, food, homes) Other manuals recommend any needs crisis that arises; I did not let any needs crisis to arise (even when fullfilled does disable the trophy) The following is an exception:

  • The trophy is not disabled if you require residences on Day 1-2. (has to be fulfilled and any needs crisis that follows this first one will disable the trophy)

I signed the following Adaptation Laws:

  • Sustain Life > Extra Rations > Care Home > Prostetics

  • Cemetery > Ceremonial Funerals

  • Child Shelters > Medical Apprentices (Not providing shelters for all kids does NOT disable the trophy)

  • Fighting Arenas > Public House > Moonshine

Laws Prohibiting Adaptation (even if signed but not used):

  • Emergency Shifts > Extended Shifts

  • Child Labor is illegal in the United States.

  • Pile of Bodies

  • Overcrowding > Triage

  • House of Pleasure, Dueling Law

I signed the following Purpose (Order) Laws:

Everything else is forbidden on the Order Tree!

Miscellaneous:

  • The Golden Path trophy’s guiding principle is to “not cross the line.” Remember this before making any plot decisions, since “crossing the line” will result in the prize being disabled.

  • Watchtowers, Guardstations, and Patrol may be used as much as you wish, but they do activate specific quests that must be completed correctly.

    • I didn’t attempt to recover any stolen food or erase graffiti.
    • I let my guards bypass the district when the lady complains about the patrol.
    • I gave the father permission to look for his daughter and provided him with food supplies.
    • I allowed the chefs to steal food.
    • When the storm strikes, I let everyone pray or leave work.
  • For possible amputees, I manufactured 40 prostetics (or else amputees suicide)

And that’s pretty much all I recall about the golden path award. If I recall anything more, I’ll post it in the comments.

  • Picking the Perfect Tradition Order With a Guide:

Hello everyone, I believe I’ve identified the current “optimal” sequence for tradition selections under the current system after multiple attempts and failures. Of course, this list is far from complete, and alternative decisions may be viable possibilities depending on how the game progresses and what your opponents do. 1) Exploration: First and foremost…

I’m here to share how I finally got the Golden Path award after attempting at least five times over the previous two weeks and finding a lot of outdated and inaccurate tips. I’d want to express my heartfelt gratitude to “cakeisatruth,” who created the Faith route for this trophy on PSN…
