If you’re looking for some great Sims 4 eating poses that don’t cost a dime, then this article is the place to be. We’ve taken our time and scoured through every single category in order to find out which are best for your Sims-diets and which ones will give them the perfect look at any mealtime.
The “when did sims 4 come out” is a question that has been asked many times. The answer is, Sims 4 came out on September 27th, 2014.
Making Sims eat may get tedious after a while, particularly if they’re not in the mood.
While EA’s regular dialogue animations are great (for the most part), they may be too repetitious for photographs at times.
No, there isn’t a lot of variance in the phrases and exchanges.
So I’ve gathered a collection of unique eating postures to add some spice to TS4 meals. Indulge!
1. Rethdis-Toddler love’s Feeding
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
I’d say 98 percent of eating posture packs are designed for adults and young adults, but where are the kids? Isn’t it true that a toddler needs to eat as well?
Right.
So thank you, Rethdis-love, for your Feeding Toddler pose bundle.
It includes four different couple positions for a patient parent and a fussy (but easily placated) toddler.
This is, without a doubt, one of the prettiest bundles I’ve seen on this list.
The idea is delightful, and the execution is flawless. You can tell the parent Sim is a good parent by their expressions, which are sweet and caring.
And what about the TS4 Toddler models? Adorable.
Paints a charmingly home, family-centered image.
A high chair for the child and a standard chair for the parent are required for the postures to function. The original post’s last preview picture demonstrates how to set the teleporters (one on top of the other).
The pose download also includes a handmade toddler spoon!
2. Simtographies’ Eating Donuts Pose Pack
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
Snack time, in my perspective, is all the time.
That’s why Simtographies’ sweet-treat-themed posture set speaks to me so deeply.
Sure, it’s just a Sim strolling down the street eating a freshly baked glazed doughnut.
(To be honest, that’s my typical Wednesday, but I digress.)
This posture bundle, on the other hand, has personality.
It’s basic and uncomplicated, but the pose quality is excellent, the emotions are spot-on, and the doughnut is an excellent accessory (no tremulous hovering, no glitching, etc.)
There’s one pair position for an Adult/Young Adult and Child (each eating on their own dessert), as well as three solo poses – two for Young/Adults and one for a Child.
Take notice that the description for the solo image for the child (the fourth posture choice on the list) does not specifically specify that it is for a Child model. So just be cautious not to shrink your Young/Adult Sim when you place them in it.
3. Let’s Watch Some Lantsov Sims Movies (Poses)
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
Is a movie night ever complete without a drink of wine, some cuddling, and a giant bowl of freshly popped butter popcorn?
I don’t believe so.
I like the premise of this Lantsov Sims pack, and I adore how the tale it depicts can simply be incorporated into any plot.
As the main event, a secondary narrative, a splash of color in the backdrop… you get the idea.
The postures themselves are at a very high standard.
One of my Sims looked a bit goofy in the first two poses due to the built-in height disparity, but the remaining three? They’re amazing in every way.
It’s the subtle aspects that grab me the most: the delicate hand feeding, the affectionate looks, the Sim casually putting their leg over their partner’s lap.
Overall, this is a wonderful bundle that I really suggest.
To make the positions work, you only need a few accessories (three or four, I guess), and two of them are already included in the downloaded file!
4. Is There Anyone Who Doesn’t Like Pizza? Just a tiny catus (poses)
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
I mean, sure. Pizza is a dish that everyone enjoys.
It’s tasty, filling, and simple to prepare.
And if you become tired of it, you may switch to another taste. Plus, since cold pizza is still wonderful pizza, the leftovers will last for days.
But, apart from that, there’s this posture bundle.
It doesn’t really depict a lunch now, does it? To be honest, it seems more like a weird bedroom photoshoot with pizza as a prop.
And the model is only seen eating the pizza in two of the five stances. Others show her holding a slice nebulously in her palm, posing cutely.
It’s strange, to say the least. But I believe it has its own appeal.
Especially the sixth stance, which resembles someone collapsing on the kitchen floor from a food coma.
It’s ideal for university simulations.
5. La-Sims-Dinner Society’s Pose Pack
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
Dinner time has arrived for a group of six individuals, and no one is pleased.
But, hey, there’s booze, right?
Aside from the humor, I found this pose set to be rather entertaining.
It’s a set of two poses for a total of six individuals, all sitting at a dining table and firmly refusing to engage in nice dinner conversation.
Look at how many different expressions of shame, rage, disappointment, nonchalance, and complete contempt there are. Only two persons seem to be really joyful throughout the toast! Everyone else is too preoccupied with staring daggers or dodging other people’s gazes.
If you’re a member of a dysfunctional family, you’re well aware of how quickly tensions may rise when everyone sits down to eat.
It’s a triumph if everyone walks away with their dignity intact.
That circumstance was well represented in this pack, in my opinion. And I’m very curious in the background of this particular set.
6. Poteto & Friendly 035 [Distribution] by micnpanchi
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
This position pack has a similar tone to the previous two “snack packs” on this list (by Lantsov sims and katverse).
It’s a visual depiction of those evenings when all you want to do is curl up on the sofa.
Snacks, drinks, and a whole night of lounging on the sofa watching trashy reruns? That sounds like the perfect Friday night.
Poteto Posture (V2) and Friendly 035 are two pose sets included in one download release by the developer. Poteto Pose (V2) is a collection of twelve positions for a single Sim eating chips. The chip bag is an optional item (look for it in headgear) that comes in a variety of tastes.
Can I just express how much I like the creator’s meticulous attention to detail in this case? We, on the other hand, adore diversity.
The Sim is standing up in two of the twelve. The remainder of the action takes place on a sofa.
Friendly 035 is a collection of seven Sims postures.
Everyone has brought munchies for movie/game night! There are chips, drink, and pizza available. These things, like potato chips, are wearable accessories (search for bracelets) that come in a variety of tastes and possibilities.
The pack’s primary attention may be on socializing rather than feeding. But believe me when I say there will be plenty of chewing.
Both sets are highly wholesome images that are ideal for chilling out during a story’s downtime.
Do you want to display your Sims relaxing after a hard day at work?
Do you want to visually convey that you have no plans for the weekend?
This is the posture bundle you’ll need to complete it.
7. Sushis & Friends (Poses) by ParisSimmer
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
Sushi group date devolved into an unexpected eating contest. Isn’t it adorable?
A posture pack that goes out of its way to convey a basic slice-of-life tale that a lot of people can connect to is always appreciated by me.
I’m sure we all have pals that want to have a good time during group dinners (sushi optional).
This posture set tells the story in a warm and aesthetically appealing manner.
The facial expressions are exaggerated to better portray emotion, but not to the point of becoming silly.
I really like the idea.
And the setup, although a little difficult owing to all the CC, is well worth it in terms of the ultimate results.
Keep in mind that the custom Kotatsu table mentioned in the description is required. The Kotatsu table included with the Snowy Escape EP is much too large.
8. Solstice-sims’ Pizza Pals Posepack
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
This has the same mood as Who Doesn’t Like Pizza? by just a little catus. Just a little less “photoshoot” and a little more “casual college housemates.”
I’m telling you, there’s something about pizza that instantly transports me to university.
Despite the fact that this pack only has two poses, I believe it is a useful random pose set to keep on hand for filler story arches or side storylines.
It’s basically simply two pals getting together for pizza and a few laughs.
And in the first posture, one Sim is hand-feeding the other, which is always a nice, wholesome shot.
9. katverse’s Binge-Watching TV Poses
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
This is another another movie-night snack pack that I appreciated.
It’s not as extensive as micnpachi’s Poteto & Friendly 035, nor does it have the cute, cuddly couple quality of Lantsov sims’s Let’s Watch Some Movies set.
It does, however, have its own distinct appeal, which is why it has earned a place on our list.
In Katverse’s version, we have a traditional couch potato Sim who seems to be having a good time.
Micnpachi’s Sim models in Poteto Pose (V2) have a more apathetic, could-care-less expression, while katverse’s model has greater diversity.
My Sim seemed to be truly engrossed in two of the five postures. The pack’s other expressions include two differing degrees of ennui and one that seems to be disgruntled.
These positions don’t need a large number of accoutrements. And the ones you do need are stated in the description for quick reference.
10. xldkx’s Dying for Some Dim Sum (Poses)
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
This is what happens when a devoted TS4 CC maker goes above and beyond the bare minimum: a massive stuff + pose pack jam-packed with amusing goodies.
There are 16 poses, 26 new CC items, and 6 custom accessories to choose from (to be used in posing).
My arithmetic isn’t great, but I believe that’s more than 40 additional custom items stuffed into a single innocent.package file.
It’s incredible that something that comprehensive is available for free, but it is.
Also, the quality is fantastic!
The expressions are endearingly amusing (and very on-brand for the Sims) The CC décor objects seem to be real (no issues with meshes or placement in the environment), and the posing accessories are fantastic.
You’ll primarily need chopsticks and a soup spoon, although depending on the stance, the developer has incorporated little changes and alterations (i.e., with a bit of food on the end).
In addition, the designer went above and above by numbering the posing accessories. You’ll find them under caps, and they’re all numbered 1 through 6. Each attachment comes with a description as well as instructions on how to use it.
This does imply that you’ll have to enter CAS mode a few times in order to alter the accessories (or line up a lot of different everyday outfits).
But, given all I’ve got, I can guarantee you that the screenshots are well worth the effort.
This set is great if you want some nice photographs of your Sim plainly enjoying some delicious dim food.
kikovanitysimmer’s [Poses] 100 Chicken Nugget Challenge
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
This one takes the cake when it comes to original ideas.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen something quite like that.
If you’re acquainted with YouTube artists, you’re probably aware that many of them take on a variety of challenges for their video, ranging from apparently impossible jobs to bizarre dares.
The 100 chicken nugget challenge is one such challenge that grew in popularity as a result of the mukbang fad.
I’m not going to get into specifics. I’ll simply state that the challenge’s idea is precisely what the name implies… and that this pack develops the story of a Sim YouTuber taking up the challenge.
In terms of eating ideas, it’s rather intriguing. It’s also a reasonable interpretation of a contemporary pop culture trend.
In all, there are five posture sets: four couple poses and one trio photo with two Young/Adults and a Toddler.
Just keep in mind that each posture needs a significant amount of preparation time before you begin.
You may use the nuggets and McDonald’s goods to adorn the table once and then utilize them for the remainder of the pack. We also have a list of McDonald’s CC that you should look at.
Regrettably, you’ll have to keep entering CAS or changing costumes in order to adjust the accessories to the position.
But, other from that small flaw, this bundle is a visual delight.
Also, let it be known that the Toddler’s trio stance is shockingly cute.
HoneySims4’s Taiyaki Pose [HS4]
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
If you’ve never had taiyaki, maybe this position set will persuade you to try it.
It’s a sweet red bean paste, custard, chocolate, or sweet potato-filled Japanese cake snack.
It’s also in the form of a fish.
I’m not sure which one is the selling pitch, but it’s a highly popular snack nonetheless.
And, as you can see from the sample photographs, the model adores it.
I decided I’d throw in a pack with a classic Eastern delicacy because there were multiple eating position packs with normal “Western” foods (i.e., popcorn, soda, pizza) represented.
It’s preferable to eat taiyaki just out of the pan, when the edges are crispy and the inside is somewhat gooey.
Because it’s often eaten on-the-go, none of the Sim models in the sample photographs are seated.
Walking through a street fair while eating delicious fish-shaped hotcakes from a paper bag simply adds to the fun.
This collection includes 14 charming and quirky postures as well as the ever-useful all-in-one animation (which comes in handy if you’re attempting to test shoot all of the stances).
Eden Cherry’s Pose Japanese Dinner
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
Keeping with the Eastern motif, this family supper has three gorgeous children, a loyal adult daughter, a sweet matron, and a surprisingly tough father.
(Hey, the kids are playing at the table, so he can’t be that awful.)
People are eating here, unlike in la-sims-Dinner society’s Pose Pack.
And, as far as I can tell, no one at the table seems dissatisfied, upset, or unhappy with the others.
That’s for sure. It’s a lot more friendly. And you’ll need much more than just a wine glass accessory. To mention a few, there are rice bowls, chopsticks, and the Kotatsu table from the Snowy Escape expansion pack.
Because the features of both packs are rather similar, I strongly suggest acquiring the majority of the Build/Buy items from that EP to aid with set design for this pose set (if not exactly the same).
Because one set is for six people (3 Adults/Young Adults, 1 Child, 2 Toddlers) and the other set is just for four (2 Adults/Young Adults, 1 Child, 1 Toddler), the postures are a bit difficult to figure out at first.
However, getting the teleporter locations correct only takes a few trials.
14. Just a little catus’ Breakfast with a Friend Pose Pack
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
Just a tiny catus has created yet another adorable little bundle.
This set only has two postures, much as solstice-sims’ Pizza Pals pack.
However, I believe the pack’s quality and premise deserve its inclusion on this list.
Okay, I’m a sucker for soft moments, and what could be softer than an early morning brunch with a good buddy in a beautiful restaurant? Good food, good company, and a good cup (or two) of coffee. Alternatively, there’s tea.
Whatever makes your (Sim’s) heart sing.
Here you’ll find two sitting positions for two Sims. The teleporter statues must be placed near the seats, one square away to the right.
In the description, you’ll find a link to the teacup attachment you’ll need.
The fork attachment has been disabled, however pepsi-Tumblr love’s provides a direct simsfileshare link.
15. Anlamveg’s Aishi Family Poses
Take a Look At This Pose Pack
I’ll confess that this bundle is a little perplexing at first.
For the in-game posture list, there are no images or descriptions. To find out which position is which, you have to cycle through all of them.
There are no directions for teleporter installation in the original post, either.
However, after some trial and error, I worked it out.
It’s a five-sim group stance, with four sitting at a table eating with chopsticks and one going past the table.
To get the group photo, detach the teleporter figurines and place them around the table.
However, unlike other custom group poses, this one requires you to arrange the statues where you want the Sims to sit, rather than layering them on top of each other.
In terms of graphics, I like how the download package already includes the chopsticks attachment.
It’s always a plus for me when I don’t have to visit a dozen additional websites just to get accessories.
I really enjoy the minor emotions and position adjustments; they give the scenario a calm and collected feel.
It’s also worth mentioning that this posture set may be used as a single group position for five Sims or five individual poses for one Sim.
It might also be used to represent the evolution of a Sim eating several delectable rice meals since there is no apparent story or theme. It’s really adaptable enough to make it work!
