Bungie has released a hotfix for Destiny 2 on Tuesday, following last week’s game update that saw the removal of all mods from public matches.

The “destiny 2 hotfix 3.0 02” is a hotfix that was released on the 10th of July, 2018 to fix the issue with Destiny 2’s Weekly Nightfall Strike. The patch notes state that it fixes an issue where players could not get credit for completing the Weekly Nightfall strike.

Activities
Crucible
- Capturing a zone on some maps did not give Super energy or display “zone captured” text in the Iron Banner and Momentum Control playlists.
- The longer respawn time option on the Iron Banner Freelance node is now correctly shown.
Eternity’s Dares
- The suggested Power level has been reduced to 1100.
- Fixed an issue where players could be auto launched into Eternity’s Dares before acquiring a Heavy weapon.
- Between rounds, additional physics objects are cleaned up to avoid crashes during extended Dares sessions.
- Fixed an issue where the prize level (platinum, etc.) was presented at the conclusion of a standard difficulty activity.
Exotic Mission Preparation
Avarice’s Grasp is a dungeon.
- In Sunken Lair, a location where players may exit the environment has been fixed.
- Geometry was added to prevent an encounter from being exploited by finishing it without engaging its mechanics.
Sectors that have gone missing
- Fixed an issue where several Champions in the Chamber of Starlight lost section didn’t count towards the total when calculating awards, enabling players to bypass them and still get platinum.
Public Occasions
- Public event rally flags now properly replenish Super energy for Supers in the longer cooldown levels.
UI/UX
- Colorblind modes’ default colors have been updated to make it easier to differentiate between combatant health bars in Deuteranopia, Protanopia, and Tritanopia.
- Some emblems were not appearing correctly due to a bug.
- Some emblems were not showing the right imagery due to a bug.
Investment and Gameplay
Armor
- Icefall Mantle may now be used immediately after Glacial Guard was knocked off the Titan.
Weapons
- Completing the Blind Well event now guarantees the drop of Dreaming City weaponry.
- When viewing Forerunner’s catalyst in the Exotic catalysts menu, it was lacking a descriptive string.

When using Sidearm Reserves modifications, Forerunner will spawn with 11 ammunition in pvp. This has been fixed.
- The Sidearm Reserves mod has been reactivated.

When the Poison Wings Spread ornament for Le Monarque was stowed, one arrow was permanently nocked.

The Braytech M6 decoration for Forerunner caused the weapon’s reticle to decrease while pointing down sights, which was fixed.
Accessories
- The Gray Hornet Sparrow’s left pipe no longer fails to ignite.
Abilities
- The Shadowshot, Silence, and Squall Supers were not in the right passive cooldown tiers, which was fixed.
- Fixed an issue where successfully breaking a Stasis crystal with the landing detonation costs a melee charge.
- Fixed an issue where Frontal Assault would activate when the player used a charged melee to assault dead items.
Pursuits and Bounties
- Weekly Starhorse Bounties could no longer be accomplished on more than one character.
- Fixed an issue that might have prevented players from obtaining the “Magnum Opus II” quest from Xur despite achieving all of the requirements.
