Overview of the Templar Order
What should you know about the Templar Class in Elder Scrolls Online? Its simplicity is what sets it apart. Your primary spammable heals you according on the amount of damage you do, allowing you to go after single targets or big groups and be very aggressive. It’s my favorite overall playstyle in ESO because of the melee emphasis and simplicity of usage.
The Templar is also skilled at healing, both single and group targets. When you take damage, you have one of the most powerful survival talents in the game, granting you a bubble healing every half second. You also have a powerful burst heal that doesn’t need Breath of Life to be aimed. This class excels in DPS, healing, and PvP, but it falls short when it comes to true end-game tanking. If you prefer the Cleric or Paladin classes from previous RPGs and MMOs, you’ll like Templar.
SUGGESTIONS FOR BEGINNING A NEW CHARACTER!
Video Instructions
- Armor: Make sure you equip at least three armor pieces from your major city’s initial merchants (white quality). This will allow you to pick passives and unlock the skill line. After you’ve unlocked all of them, I suggest wearing 5 of your main armor (tanks heavy, stam medium, mag light), followed by 1 and 1 of the other. You’ll reach the final game with your armor skills leveled this way.
- During the leveling process, make sure you slot one ability from each class skill line on your bar, just as you did with armor. You can only slot a certain number of skills, but you may unlock 100 or more passives that strengthen you.
Ranking
A Tier of PvP Stam
- The stamplar possesses great mitigation, mobility, burst damage, and cleaning. It presently lacks a burst heal comparable to other stam classes, which would make it more survivable. You’ll also have to trade some damage for resource survival if you choose a hybrid strategy that stacks maximum stamina/weapon damage while relying on magicka for buffs, healing, and mobility.
S Tier PvP Mag
- The Templar is the only class that can stand up to the powerful MagDK. You’ll have the most aggressive melee playstyle in the game with Living Dark, Extended Ritual, and Puncturing Sweeps. It’s also one of the most straightforward to begin started with. You also have excellent passives that increase spell damage, which feeds into your damage and healing, making you a formidable opponent in PvP.
DPS Stam in PvE = B Tier
- The simplicity of stamplar is one of its advantages. Load up on talents like Fighters Guild that increase your damage only for the sake of slotting, then smash Biting Jabs. On the negative side, you won’t be able to match the stats of other stamina builders.
DPS Mag in PvE = A Tier
- The Magplar, on the other hand, has access to extra damage over time effects that outperform its primary spammable effects, making them particularly useful in late-game trials and dungeons. You’re melee, which means you’re susceptible to harm.
Tier = Healer
- It might be argued that magplar healer belongs in the S Tier, but it lacks the benefits that throw the Necro and Warden over the top. Sure magplar is the best for pure burst healing with no aim necessary breath of life. However, as you progress to more challenging material, buffs that increase your group’s resource sustain and damage cause it to drop significantly.
Tier = C Tank
- Magplar is, in my view, one of the worst tanks in the game. Sure, it’s tough and durable, and I’ve used mine to defeat some of the game’s toughest challenges. Aside than that, it’s nothing more than a punching bag for the gang.
Skill Line of Aedric Spear
Overview: Use this talent to align your damage with some of the game’s most crucial passives.
Ultimate Abilities
Sweep Radial Swing your Aedric spear with holy wrath across the battlefield, delivering 2323 Magic Damage to all surrounding foes and an additional 1161 Magic Damage every 2 seconds for 6 seconds.
Use: Excellent low-cost exploding ult, excellent for leveling!
Sweep of Empowerment Swing your Aedric spear with holy wrath throughout the battlefield, delivering 2399 Physical Damage to all surrounding opponents and an additional 1161 Physical Damage every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. For each enemy hit, the time is prolonged by 2 seconds. For the duration, get Empower, which increases the damage of your Light and Heavy Attacks by 40%.
This is the PvE stamplar morph, although most people prefer Crescent. Due to the solar barrage, the emperor benefit is no longer necessary.
Sweep in a Crescent Swing your Aedric spear with holy wrath across the battlefield, delivering 2399 Magic Damage to all surrounding foes and an additional 1161 Magic Damage every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. Enemies who cross your path will take 60% more damage.
Use: A fantastic low-cost burst ult that works well against stam or magplar. The reason for this is because even with mag damage, placing this ultimate on bar with Dawnbreaker of Smiting causes 60 percent greater damage if they are in your path.
Active Capabilities
Strikes that Puncture Launch a persistent attack with your Aedric spear, hitting foes four times in front of you. The spear inflicts 844 Magic Damage on the nearest opponent and 324 Magic Damage on all others. Each attack slows the nearest enemy’s Movement Speed by 40% for 1 second.
Use: Brace yourself for the game’s most powerful ability. Massive area of effect, excellent single target, better with more mobs, large radius in front of you, and strong range. In ESO, this is the most important melee ability.
Biting Jabs Launch a relentless attack with your Aedric spear, hitting opponents in front of you four times. The spear inflicts 872 Physical Damage on the nearest adversary and 334 Physical Damage on all others. Each attack slows the nearest enemy’s Movement Speed by 40% for 1 second. This ability provides you Major Savagery for 8 seconds, raising your Weapon Critical rating by 2629.
Use: The jabs morph provides a significant boost as well as physical damage, similar to that of a nuclear missile. Because it strikes so hard on stam builds, most stamplar pve builds just utilize one DoT because it’s easier to simply jab than to execute a complicated rotation.
Sweep Puncturing Launch a persistent attack with your Aedric spear, hitting foes four times in front of you. The spear inflicts 872 Magic Damage on the nearest opponent and 334 Magic Damage on all others. Each attack slows the nearest enemy’s Movement Speed by 40% for 1 second. This ability heals you for 40% of the damage you cause.
Usage: The magplar’s S Tier +++ ability turns him into a goat for easy damage, simplicity, and resilience. Why? Massive aoe, decent single target damage, added burst from burning light, and it heals you for a ridiculous amount for the damage done. It’s one of the only classes that can Rambo into practically any brawl scenario and survive.
Piercing Javelin With godlike power, hurl your spear at an adversary, delivering 1392 Magic Damage and knocking them back 8 meters. The enemy’s Resistances are ignored in this strike.
Use it to knockback and stun a single target.
Aurora Javelin is a fictional character. With godlike power, hurl your spear at an adversary, inflicting 1438 Magic Damage and knocking them back 8 meters. The enemy’s Resistances are ignored in this strike. For every 1 meter you are away from the target, you deal an extra 2% damage with the spear, up to a maximum of 40%.
This morph boosts damage by disregarding armor and isn’t designed to be repeated; it’s more of a knock back.
Binding Javelin With godlike power, hurl your spear at an adversary, delivering 1393 Physical Damage and stunning them for 4 seconds. The enemy’s Resistances are ignored in this strike.
Stamina users who desire an on-demand stun would love this.
Focused Charge Impale an opponent with your divine lance, causing 1392 Magic Damage. If an adversary hits you while you’re casting, you’ll be interrupted, knocked off balance, and stunned for 3 seconds.
Usage: a narrower gap that throws off the equilibrium. Off balance is valuable since it may be eaten with a fully charged heavy strike, giving you a resource sustain boost. This will be useful for PvP and leveling.
a charge of explosives Charge with your divine lance, inflicting 1799 Magic Damage to all opponents in the area. Any opponent struck is halted, knocked off balance, and stunned for 3 seconds.
Usage: This is an unusual morph since it just adds a little amount of damage and lacks the “always” stun component, so I usually avoid it.
Toppling Charge Impale your adversary with your divine lance to deal 1438 Magic Damage, stun them for 3 seconds, and knock them off balance. If the target was casting, this interrupts them.
Use: You take damage, are constantly stunned, and are off balance. This is my go-to gap closer in PvP.
Shards of Spear Send your spear into the sky to rain down divine fury on opponents in the area, inflicting 1742 Magic Damage and an additional 172 Magic Damage every 1 second for 10 seconds. The Blessed Shards synergy may be activated by an ally near the spear, recovering 3960 Magicka or Stamina, whichever is greater.
Application: Massive AoE damage and resource sustain through ally synergies. This is your resource sustainer for PvE damage and healing.
Shards of Light Send your spear into the sky to rain down divine fury on opponents in the area, inflicting 1742 Magic Damage and an additional 173 Magic Damage every 1 second for 10 seconds. The Holy Shards synergy, which restores 3960 Magicka and Stamina, may be activated by an ally near the spear.
This morph provides both resource pools, making it an excellent choice for group healers. This will be thrown against tanks from afar.
Send your spear into the sky to rain down divine fury on opponents in the area, inflicting 2160 Magic Damage and an additional 214 Magic Damage every 1 second for 10 seconds. The Blessed Shards synergy may be activated by an ally near the spear, recovering 3960 Magicka or Stamina, whichever is greater.
Use: Massive AoE DPS and a must-have for PvE DPS. In PvP, I frequently skip this talent in favor of a simpler loadout.
Shield of the Sun Surround yourself with sun rays for a damage shield that lasts 6 seconds and absorbs up to 4800 damage. This ability’s part is based on your Maximum Health. When the shield is active, nearby foes receive 1742 Magic Damage, and each enemy hit raises the shield’s strength by 4%.
Because the efficacy is dependant on maximum health, this is mostly utilized in tanking. As a result, if you have a low maximum health, shield, or useage.
Ward of Radiance Surround yourself with sun rays for a damage shield that lasts 6 seconds and absorbs up to 4800 damage. This ability’s part is based on your Maximum Health. When the shield is active, nearby foes receive 1742 Magic Damage, and each enemy hit improves the shield’s strength by 9%.
This morph is useful when you’re thrown into a large group of gamers or NPCs and need something to defend you. Make sure to activate when the most monsters are attacking you, but keep in mind the cost of magicka.
Shield of Fire Surround yourself with sun rays for a damage shield that lasts 6 seconds and absorbs up to 4800 damage. This ability’s part is based on your Maximum Health. When the shield is active, each close adversary boosts the shield’s strength by 4%. When the shield is depleted, it bursts outward, causing 30% of the damage it took to adjacent opponents.
This is a fantastic PvP morph or for tanks that want to do a lot of damage.
Skills that are not active
Critical Damage is increased by 10% when you use Piercing Spear. Increases the amount of damage you deal to blocked targets by 10%.
Usage: For PvE dps, you’ll need to slot an aedric spear ability on both the front and rear bars.
For 6 seconds, Spear Wall grants Minor Protection, lowering damage received by 5%.
This implies you gain damage reduction when you strike an aedric spear ability like Sweeps/Jabs. When you combine this with the High Elf passive, you get a 10% damage reduction that you may stack on top of your main protection!
a blazing light When you use an Aedric Spear ability four times in a row, you deal 1348 Physical Damage or 1348 Magic Damage to your target, whichever is greater.
Sweeps/Jabs get a lot more damage with this, and if you use spear/crescent together, you get a lot more damage. Consider where your burst is coming from.
Weapon and Spell Damage are increased by 6%, and Physical and Spell Resistance are increased by 1320 with Balanced Warrior.
Because the flat percentage-based gain is unique to templar, it provides a huge boost to damage. There’s no need to even slot anything!
Skill Line Dawn’s Wrath
Consider this to be your damage-over-time skill line.
Ultimate Abilities
Nova Call down a shard of the sun, delivering 1161 Magic Damage every 1 second for 8 seconds and inflicting Major Maim on opponents in the area, diminishing their damage done by 10%. The Supernova synergy may be activated by an ally near the fragment, delivering 2607 Magic Damage to all opponents in the area and stunning them for 3 seconds.
Use: This is a good starting ultimate, but it’s disappointing in the present state of the game since Major Maim is so simple to come by.
Prison in the Sun Call down a shard of the sun, causing 1199 Magic Damage every 1 second for 8 seconds and inflicting Major Maim on opponents in the area, diminishing their damage done by 10%. The Gravity Crush synergy may be activated by an ally near the fragment, delivering 5215 Magic Damage to all opponents in the area and stunning them for 5 seconds.
Usage: Because the grav crush synergy can wipe big groups, this is a fantastic morph of PvP healers to run. When my Magcrow synergies, I’ve immediately slain ten guys. TAKE THIS ON A TEMPLAR IN PvP WITH A GROUP, TRUST ME.
a disturbance in the sun Call down a shard of the sun, causing 1161 Magic Damage per second for 8 seconds to opponents in the area, as well as applying Major Maim for 10 seconds, lowering their damage done by 10%. The Supernova synergy may be activated by an ally near the fragment, delivering 2607 Magic Damage to all opponents in the area and stunning them for 3 seconds.
Use: This is a lackluster morph that should be passed on; in PvE, use Aggressive Warhorn.
Active Capabilities
Sun Fire Blast an opponent with a burst of radiant heat, delivering 1161 Flame Damage and a further 2310 Flame Damage over the course of ten seconds. Major Prophecy is gained upon activation, raising your Spell Critical rating by 2629.
This is an excellent ranged damage over time spell with spell critical. If you prefer range, the appeal of this ability is that you receive it straight away and it delivers a lot of damage towards the conclusion of the game.
Vampire’s Bane Blasts an opponent with a radiant heat charge, delivering 1161 Flame Damage and a further 3346 Flame Damage over 14 seconds. Major Prophecy is gained upon activation, raising your Spell Critical rating by 2629.
This morph is a single target focused morph that slams into a single adversary like a hammer!
Reflective Light Blasts up to three foes with a burst of radiant heat, delivering 1199 Flame Damage and an additional 2315 Flame Damage over 10 seconds, while also slowing them down by 40% for 3 seconds. Major Prophecy is gained upon activation, raising your Spell Critical rating by 2629.
This is my favorite morph since it causes more damage to more adversaries and can be deployed from a distance.
Flare of the Sun Conjure a sun energy ball to hurl at an opponent, doing 2404 Magic Damage. For 3 seconds, you get Empower, which increases the damage of your Light and Heavy Attacks by 40%.
Use: This is a one-of-a-kind ability that grants Empower Buff. In end-game PvE, Empower is crucial since light attacks will be one of the top damage sources for the best players. As a result, keeping this bonus is critical in PvE towards the conclusion of the game.
Conjure a ball of sun energy and launch it at a target, causing 2483 Magic Damage. Major Defile is applied to the victim and opponents within 8 meters, limiting healing and health recovery by 16 percent for 4 seconds. For 3 seconds, you get Empower, which increases the damage of your Light and Heavy Attacks by 40%.
Usage: This talent used to be required in PvP, but owing to the long cast time and the nerf to Major Defile, it isn’t utilized nearly as much anymore. Consider it if you like range, although it pales in comparison to Sweeps’ primary spammable in PvE.
Barrage of the Sun Solar energy may be summoned to blast opponents in your vicinity, delivering 575 Magic Damage every 2 seconds for 8 seconds. You receive Empower while this ability is active, boosting the damage of your Light and Heavy Attacks by 40%.
End-game PvE and PvP duels, god tier AoE damage, empower buff, and an essential must leveling
Backlash Summon an extending beam of pure sunshine to doom an adversary, delivering 1161 Magic Damage and replicating all damage absorbed from you for 6 seconds, releasing half of it as extra Magic Damage. 3150 is the maximum duplicated damage.
Consider this ability to be a damage balloon. The more damage it deals after 6 seconds, the more you absorb up. This item goes boom, and you should focus your development on keeping it going every 6 seconds. Important passives are also procced.
Light that Purifies Summon an extending beam of pure sunshine to doom an adversary, delivering 1161 Magic Damage and replicating all damage absorbed from you for 6 seconds, releasing half of it as extra Magic Damage. 3150 is the maximum duplicated damage. A puddle of sunshine stays linked to the adversary after the effect finishes, healing you and surrounding allies for 674 Health every 2 seconds for 6 seconds.
Usage: This morph accomplishes the same thing as the previous one, but with the addition of healing at the base, making it ideal for DPS and utility.
The Light’s Power Summon an extending beam of pure sunshine to doom an adversary, delivering 1161 Physical Damage and replicating all damage absorbed from you for 6 seconds, releasing half of it as extra Physical Damage. 3150 is the maximum duplicated damage. Minor Breach is also applied to targets, lowering their Physical and Spell Resistance by 2974 for 9 seconds.
This provides a slight breach enhancement and transforms into a stamina-based ability. PvE tanks, which are less significant in that environment, generally give little breach. It’s a must-have burst skill in PvP.
Eclipse For 4 seconds, envelop an opponent in a lightless sphere that hurts them with increasing severity whenever they perform a Direct Damage strike. Only one is allowed. Their first assault slows them down by 30% for four seconds, their second attack renders them immobile for three seconds, and their third attack stuns them for three seconds. Once every one second, the effects may be activated.
The basic morph is strange to use. When you put yourself in a crowd, they beat you up and awful things happen to them. I dislike the basic morph and believe it is quite weak, yet one morph isn’t enough.
Living in the Dark To defend yourself, envelop yourself in a lightless sphere for 4 seconds. When an adversary performs a Direct Damage attack against you, the sphere responds by slowing them down by 60% for 3 seconds and healing you for 1023 health. These effects may happen every half second and escalate based on your Spell Damage or Maximum Health, whichever results in a more powerful heal.
Use: This is the game’s most abused survival skill. Every half second, you are cured! And since it’s reliant on spell damage, magplars may accumulate a lot of spell damage and be practically indestructible just by keeping this buff and ruin. Try it in PvE, and it’s a necessity in PvP.
Core Unstable For 4 seconds, envelop an opponent in a lightless sphere that hurts them with increasing severity whenever they perform a Direct Damage strike. Only one is allowed. Their first strike stuns them for 3 seconds and does 1799 Magic Damage, while their second attack decreases their movement speed by 30% for 4 seconds and deals 449 Magic Damage. Their third attack immobilizes them for 3 seconds and deals 898 Magic Damage. Once every one second, the effects may be activated.
Usage: similar to the main ability, goofy morph. This is something I never use at the moment.
Destruction by Radiant A beam of holy fire burns an opponent, delivering 2538 Magic Damage over 1.8 seconds. Enemies with less than 50% health take up to 480 percent more damage.
Use: your ability to perform from a distance. At or around 30% health, executes are frequently employed in lieu of your primary spammable (some lower). This scales nicely, and I generally use it when the enemy’s health is at 30%.
Luminous Glory A beam of holy fire burns an opponent, causing 2619 Magic Damage over 1.8 seconds. Enemies with less than 50% health take up to 480 percent more damage. You’ll be able to heal for 20% of the damage you’ve done.
This is my favored morph since it provides a lot of healing. When you’re used to receiving a lot of heal with sweeps, you’ll want to keep it up due to the execute phase, which I like.
Oppression that shines A beam of holy fire burns an opponent, causing 2619 Magic Damage over 1.8 seconds. Deals up to 500% greater damage to foes with less than 50 percent health.
Use: A superior damage-dealing morph for late-game PvE when healing isn’t your concern.
Skills that are not active
Rays that last a lifetime The duration of your Sun Fire, Eclipse, Solar Flare, and Nova abilities is increased by two seconds. Prism When you cast Dawn’s Wrath during in battle, you get 3 Ultimate. Once every 6 seconds, this effect will occur.
NOTE: Backlash is used on cooldown since every 6 seconds casting creates a large amount of ultimate.
Minor Sorcery is granted to you and your party for 20 seconds when you cast a Dawn’s Wrath ability, boosting your Spell Damage by 10%.
NOTE: Another incentive to keep backlash is that it grants your party a unique boost that increases spell damage. This combines with balance warrior to give you a basic boost of 16 percent in spell damage!
Restoring Spirit lowers your abilities’ Health, Magicka, Stamina, and Ultimate costs by 5%.
Light Skill Line Restored
Consider this your skill line for healing and boosts.
Ultimate Abilities
Passage of the Years For 4 seconds, channel the gods’ favor, healing you and surrounding allies for 2787 health every 1 second. While channeling, you are unable to move, but you are immune to all crippling effects.
When just starting out, this is a good “oh crap” heal. While channeling, you won’t be able to move, but you won’t be able to be cc’d. This is what I use when I don’t know what I’m doing in PvE or when I need to concentrate in PvP.
Remembrance For 4 seconds, channel the gods’ favor, healing you and surrounding allies for 2788 health every 1 second. For 10 seconds, you get Major Protection, which reduces the amount of damage you receive by 10%. While channeling, you are unable to move, but you are immune to all crippling effects.
Use: Because of the high level of protection, this is my favored morph. You may even stop the animation from playing by blocking and evading while still receiving considerable protection. If you’re worried about taking damage in PvP, use this.
Incantation has been practiced. For 8 seconds, channel the gods’ favor, healing you and surrounding allies for 2788 health every 1 second. While channeling, you are unable to move, but you are immune to all crippling effects.
Usage: a wacky morph I never deploy since the loss of big defense isn’t worth it.
Active Capabilities
Ceremony in a Hurry For 3486 Health, be a beacon of your inner light, healing yourself or a wounded ally in front of you.
Use: The game’s “oh crap” god mode heal. It has unequaled burst potential, and it doesn’t need aiming or a 28-meter range! As a result, oh crap, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a solo, group, or trial; it simply works.
Respect For The Deceased For 3485 Health, be a beacon of your inner light, healing yourself or a wounded ally in front of you. As Magicka, healing anybody with less than 75% health returns 18% of the ability’s cost every 2 seconds for 6 seconds.
This morph is best used in solo or PvP because to its high resource sustain.
Life’s Breath For 3485 Health, be a beacon of your inner light, healing yourself or a wounded ally in front of you. One more damaged target is also healed for 1199 health.
This is the greatest group morph since it adds another healing target to the mix.
Ritual of Healing For 2613 Health, focus your spiritual commitment on healing yourself and surrounding allies.
Usage: I’ll be honest, this is the one talent in the whole Templar kit that I’ve never found helpful. It’s a good healer, but it’s not much more. It necessitates the presence of others, and there are many better choices for increasing damage, resistances, or sustain. This is a talent that I never utilize.
The Rebirth Ritual For 2614 Health, focus your spiritual commitment on healing yourself and surrounding allies. You heal a single ally for an extra 2700 health beyond the range of this ability.
I don’t use this and try to stay away from it.
hurried prayer For 2614 Health, focus your spiritual commitment on healing yourself and surrounding allies. Affected targets receive Minor Expedition for 5 seconds, improving their movement speed by 15%.
Isn’t this a little expedition?
Restoring Aura Champion the cause of heavenly glory to apply Minor Magickasteal on all foes in your vicinity for 20 seconds, restoring 168 Magicka every 1 second to you and your friends when they are damaged. Minor fortitude, Minor endurance, and Minor intelligence are gained while slotted, improving your Health, Stamina, and Magicka Recovery by 15%.
Application: a resource sustain utility that provides a significant increase to slotting sustain.
Radiant Aura Champion the cause of heavenly glory to apply Minor Magickasteal on all foes in your vicinity for 20 seconds, restoring 168 Magicka every 1 second to you and your friends when they are damaged. Minor fortitude, Minor endurance, and Minor intelligence are gained while slotted, improving your Health, Stamina, and Magicka Recovery by 15%.
Use: This morph grants enormous aoe and modest magicka theft, however the issue is that this is a simple boost to gain in the first place. I normally skip this morph and instead use elemental drain from the destruction staff skill line.
Repentance For each corpse nearby, consecrate the souls of the dead, healing you and your allies for 3000 health and replenishing 3000 stamina. Minor fortitude, Minor endurance, and Minor intelligence are gained while slotted, improving your Health, Stamina, and Magicka Recovery by 15%.
Use: This is a fantastic talent since it is free, provides a passive slottable boost, and allows you to gather stamina from corpses. On a Templar tank or in PvP with a sword and shield back bar, this is incredible sustain.
Ritual of Cleansing Exalt in the Aedra’s divine light, purifying yourself of up to two detrimental effects and healing you and adjacent allies for 870 every 2 seconds for 12 seconds. Allies in the area may use the Purify synergy to cleanse themselves of any detrimental effects and heal for 1886 Health. Your highest offensive stats scale with this ability.
In both pve and pvp, this is a must-have talent. It’s a necessary to remove detrimental effects, not to mention solid heals over time and a potent synergy!
Retaliation Ritual Exalt in the holy light of the Aedra, purging yourself of up to two negative effects right now. Enemies receive 898 Magic Damage every 2 seconds for 12 seconds while in the area, which increases by 5% every tick. Allies in the area may use the Purify synergy to cleanse themselves of any detrimental effects and heal for 1886 Health. Your highest offensive stats scale with this ability.
In PvE, this morph is an excellent option for damage dealers.
Longer Ritual Exalt in the Aedra’s divine light, purifying yourself of up to 5 detrimental effects and healing you and surrounding allies for 870 health every 2 seconds for 24 seconds. Allies in the area may use the Purify synergy to cleanse themselves of any detrimental effects and heal for 1886 Health. Your highest offensive stats scale with this ability.
Use: This is a wonderful PvE and PvP ability, and it’s my go-to survival ability alongside Living Dark.
Focus on the Runes Make a celestial protective rune and receive Major Resolve for 20 seconds, boosting your Physical and Spell Resistance by 5948. Standing inside the rune heals you for 743 health per second, based on your Maximum Health.
Use: Your armor boost heals you and activates passives, however the healing is dependant on your maximum health. This is a talent that I use on practically every build since it is so inexpensive and accomplishes so many things.
Focused Concentration Make a celestial protective rune and receive Major Resolve for 25 seconds, boosting your Physical and Spell Resistance by 5948. Throughout the period, you will additionally regain 242 Magicka every 1 second. Standing inside the rune heals you for 743 health per second, based on your Maximum Health.
Consider this the magicka-based version you’re running.
Getting Back on Track Make a celestial protective rune and receive Major Resolve for 20 seconds, boosting your Physical and Spell Resistance by 5948. Over the course of the game, you also regain 242 stamina every 1 second. Standing inside the rune heals you for 959 health per second, based on your Maximum Health.
This is the stamina-based morph, which is also ideal for tanks.
Skills that are not active
Mending boosts the healing benefits of your Restoring Light skills by up to 12%, depending on how bad the target’s wounds are.
Sacred Terrain Minor Mending increases your Healing Done by 8% when standing in your own Cleansing Ritual, Rune Focus, or Rite of Passage area effects, and for up to 4 seconds after leaving them. For the duration, raises the amount of damage you can block by 10%.
NOTE: This is why rune/ritual are so powerful in providing minor mending, which you may stack with major mending with a fully charged restoration staff.
Weaver of Light When you use the Restoring Light ability to heal an ally with less than 50% health, you give them 2 Ultimate. You gain 33000 Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance while channeling Rite of Passage.
NOTE: You’re virtually difficult to kill when channeling Rermembrance because of this.
Master Ritualist increases the speed of resurrection by 20%. Allies who have been resurrected have 100 percent greater health. After each successful resurrection, you have a 50% chance of filling an empty Soul Gem.
NOTE: The Templar has the fastest revival rate in the game.
