Microsoft has acquired Activision Blizzard, one of the largest developers and publishers in gaming. The conglomerate will bring its first-party studios to Microsoft, including Bungie Studios which made Halo and Call of Duty. This is a deal with potential implications for both companies as well as the industry at large.
