The Super Bowl is always a great opportunity to see trailers for forthcoming series and movies, and today’s game was no exception.
Trailers for several of this year’s most anticipated films were shown during the athletic event, including first views at Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Amazon Studios’ The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. TV advertisements for Michael Bay’s Ambulance, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and other films were also featured in the advertising schedule.
The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness teaser from Marvel Studios has already racked up over 8 million views as of this writing. On May 6, the picture will be released exclusively in cinemas, directed by a little-known filmmaker called Sam Raimi.
