Unofficial Community Stream Recap: January 21st

This week, we had two separate live streams. The first streamed was an unofficial community stream where the team discussed their progress on various tasks and how they are currently approaching future goals. In the second live stream, we explored what it would take to create a competitive gaming league based around crypto-envisioned games like CryptoKitties or ARGamingMasteryAndZombies!

In this blog, I’ll discuss the hottest topics from Unofficial Community Stream. Topics include: – Why people love watching games live

Hey, here’s the unofficial report for the community broadcast on January 21st.

Note that this is completely unofficial, since I’m just a man putting up a synopsis of the broadcast, and that anybody interested in the whole context should watch the video.

The news for the next week

• The Charlemagne is a new premium tier 8 UK heavy.

• Sparky, the new 3D commander

• The 28th-31st MM is the next +1 -1 MM.

• Because of its performance, the FV214 Mk 2 will be given a boost. HP, ammunition, gun performance, and peak speed are all factors to consider. (Wheeled tanks were delayed, thus other things was pushed ahead, which was my fault – Paingod)

News / Other Topics

• Fv4005 has a 59.39 percent victory rate.
• Scorpion 90: 55.82; Scorpion 90: 55.82; Scorpion 90: 55
• Conway has a 55.25 percent approval rating.
• After a MOE debate about switching to the new system, we opted not to pursue that way based on comments.
• We spoke about giving spotting and blocking more XP.
• We’re considering restricting the number of artys in each platoon to just one.
• Player bans have been updated: Around 300 gamers have been banned lately.
• The Multi-weapon system is now undergoing playtesting. The example was BMP moving between the gun and the Missile.
• In CW, Chinese tanks were also used.
• Customizing commanders is still in progress, and they’ve tried transferring skill levels to another commander. (Take, for example, moving your 8-skill staff to your new Santa.)
• They are focusing on improving stream management in order to have more notes available, which may include graphs and other visual aids. (I’ll have to put in more effort to upload said photos to Reddit)

QNA:

• Why was the tank pool for the rated event limited? – We needed a small pool of similar tanks to evaluate since this was our first test.
• When can we expect to see Airfield again? – We don’t have any plans now, but we’ll contact you next week.
• What’s new with the bar? – Check back next week for an update on this ticket. (scheduled for early next year, but subject to change)
• Will the tank Ace ranking event take the place of the previous ranked battles? – This is a test, and we’d want to hear your thoughts.
• Multiplayer Hellfire Pass? – Late summer
• In conversation, the response to one arty per platoon was overwhelmingly positive.
• Can you balance them if the computer can’t? (wheelies) — we looked through the concerns and made some changes. After 1000’s of struggles for life, we’ll know.
• When will personal offers and trade-in events be available for CW tanks? – That doesn’t bother me in the least.
• Is a contract for a sharpshooter on the way? — The next one is scheduled, but the one after that may not.
• We can gaze at nighttime fights in CW using Night Vision.
• Any news on the pricing of CW tank modules — it’s still under examination.
• Is it better to go to Paris or to ruinberg? – (planned for 2023)
• Are there any plans for visual updates for the next generation? – Yes, but I’m unable to speak at this time.
• Clan name on the tank’s barrel? – It’s a good suggestion, and we’ll keep it in mind.
• Wheeled vehicles for CW? You’ll almost certainly see them.
• Tanks with two barrels? – This year, but not anytime soon. (From what I’ve seen thus far, after Muti-Turret)
• Any 3D commanders for the other countries — they’ll be planned around the new country trees. We’re comparing the costs of 2D and 3D commanders to find which ones are the most cost-effective. As well as how they’re created.
• Are there any new tank classes? – It is feasible, particularly in the case of CW.
• Is there any new equipment, such as a computer? – There are no plans.
• Is there any possibility that Tank Bowl will return? – There’s a ticket for that, and there’s background work in terms of live events and other things for that.
• Ammunition made with phosphorus? – That’s something we’d want as well.
• Is there any intention of reselling additional consumables or Garage slots? – We’ll investigate… However, there is a lot on the plate, including commander customisation and a spectator Hud. Because they are continually engaged, UI takes a long time to complete tasks. (Invitation to apply for a job as a user interface designer at WG)
