The fan-made PC port of Nintendo’s 1998 N64 adventure game, Zelda: Ocarina of Time is finally nearing completion. While it won’t be an official release, the development team plans to launch the project as soon as possible after testing has finished.

According to VGC, a completely functional PC version of one of Nintendo’s finest Zelda titles, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, might be on the way.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s PC adaptation is almost ready, according to the newspaper, which reached out to Harbour Masters—the project’s community developers—and might be launched “within weeks.” The port, dubbed “Ship of Harkinian” after a passage of speech from one of the Zelda CD-i games, will arrive with a few interesting enhancements over the original, including widescreen display compatibility. A future version of the game will almost certainly include 60 FPS support.
One of the engineers, Kenix, revealed, “We really began laying down code in the middle of December last year.” “At the moment, everything of the game logic works almost perfectly. We have a few components in the archive that aren’t packed properly, most notably skyboxes, and we’re currently working through a few graphical problems. “Audio hasn’t been decompiled yet, either.”
“I’d give it a 90 percent chance.” We hoped to finish by the middle of February and improve the game for a month or two before releasing it on April 1st. In late February, we hope to have a public repository accessible.”
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time PC conversion by Harbour Masters looks to be the ideal follow-up to last year’s Super Mario 64 effort, a reverse-engineered and totally functional version of the platforming classic for PC players. Zelda fans may undoubtedly expect to rediscover Link’s 1998 journey with improved visuals, ray tracing, and other current upgrades courtesy of modifications, as suggested by that release.
Harbour Masters has also promised a PC adaptation of Majora’s Mask, the direct successor to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
